This was even more fun than I imagined, and my expectations were high! I came in with a specific vibe I was going for, aligned with my retrofuturist cocktail book Cosmic Coupe. I had researched ahead of time, but the fun was in the experience itself. Take your time and experiment! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly - Niko and Lily in particular. They had great suggestions for my blend based on what I wanted to achieve, but I have no doubt they would be just as helpful if you went in with a totally blank slate. I stopped in solo when I had a few free hours, and I'm so happy with my choice. The perfume itself is a joy to wear and lasts a long time on the skin - I can see myself coming back with friends or hosting an event in the Boston location. Highly recommend!

Had the MOST fun! I received this as a 2023 Christmas gift from my roommate - had never been to OlFactory before. The customer service was so hands on, the ladies were super skilled/patient and the location is easy to find. Such an intimate yet spacious setting in the West Village. A perfect gift! It was hard to pick a combo, as they all smelt amazing. I’ll be back and will for sure recommend you all. My perfume smells like ME (which of course it would, but) and can’t wait to try my lotion. Also, the tip to smell the fragrances outside was clutch! Thanks again!

The experience with Olivia was fantastic me and my girlfriend loved it from the beginning to the end, they are pretty much scientist/chemists mixing up scents, we will definitely come back if we want another scent. Everyone in the store is definitely very passionate about the job. If you would like something out of the ordinary this is definitely exciting and worth going to.

Gifted this to my mom for Christmas. She’s a perfume connoisseur & when I heard of Olfactory I knew it was the perfect gift. Kai helped us in the West Village location & I can’t say enough good things about her. She created multiple beautiful scents that we eventually narrowed down to 3, then to 1. She was so sweet, knowledgeable about her job & patient with my mom who would have created 100 different scents if she could have. I highly recommend this as a fun girls afternoon, or surprise gift for any fragrance lover!

I absolutely LOVED this experience! I’ve been on the hunt for a signature scent… and now I’ve found the perfect one! The staff were super helpful and amazing at the Boston Pop-Up location in the Seaport. One of my favorite perfumes is Jazz Club by Replica, and they helped me create my own spin. Will definitely be coming back to create other seasonal scents!!!

This is such a fun activity to do and such nice staff the day we went! Unfortunately I forget the name of the gentleman who helped us ( I will update when I figured it out), but his service along with Seth’s was impeccable! This place is extremely popular and not the biggest so even though we had an appointment booked, we did have to wait. We were not bothered and expected this, but that is just something to note for those planning on going. It was so fun to test out different scents and make different mixtures of scents that complimented each other. All the colors in the store also make for great photo ops if space permits. Overall a 5/5 experience and something to do! At first my partner was nervous that most of the scents were too feminine, but they really help you make a combination that you feel comfortable with. You also get to smell coffee beans to cleanse your palette. A win!

The staff was very professional, especially Sophia. She helped us all three of us was perfect. She was happy she smiled. She’s is definitely a gem to have on the team along with everyone else. I would recommend this place to any friend or anyone I do not know very nice atmosphere and thank you everyone there, especially Sophia.

This was one of the best experiences I have had. I went with my godparents and we got Molly to help us and she was the best!! She was super helpful and patient throughout the whole process. It’s fun whether you’re going as a girls night / date night or a birthday outing like it was for me. What a fun way to bring in 33!
